Corners

You’re probably wondering what this is all about…

This page just shows you some of the detail we go into to get your job right.  Let me explain: Basically when you make a Louvolite Perfect Fit blind you can use fixed or flexible corners.  The one on the left is the flexible one and it is the ONLY type of corner we use.  It actually costs more due to having more bits and the labour taking about 10 minutes more per corner.

So why do we use them?  Well simply put what might look square and parallel is often not so.  We actually measure the roof with a laser and we find on rectangular windows often one side of a blind can be up to 8mm longer than on the other side.  Therefore it is not actually square.  Do you notice? Probably not, but when we fit a blind into a window like this WE do notice and that is the story of flexible corners.

Oh yes, you can use fixed corners but when you fit the blind it needs to be packed out because it is not quite a ‘PERFECT FIT’.

Funny that…..
